Use of Network Display

The Network Display initially shows the model head variable, and its link to the model spine.

The directions of the arrows around the central node in the display indicate whether information is coming in, going out or flowing both ways in the particular link.
The colour of the individual variable and link indicate its logical state, as:

                True Blue
                False Green
                Error Red
                UKE Brown
				Turquoise for Bayesian operators
                NYK Yellow

Note that the ordering of links for variables is based on the sequence in which the lines of the model text were entered, starting at 3 o'clock; while the ordering for operators that are not shells is predefined (a shell operator represents an aggregation of operators, links and constants, usually produced by expanding a drawing into the network). The shell operator appears as an aqua coloured ellipse. You can examine its internal structure if you click on it using the right button  while it is not at the centre of the display.

It is possible to have diode behaviour in the links of the network. If a link is set to behave this way, a small black arrow will appear on the link, indicating the only possible direction of information flow.

Textual Representation

You can examine a textual representation of the node by pressing  the Read Data option. If done on RENEWABLE resource nodes, you will see a detailed listing of the bookings on the node.
